It's 18% thinner and 20% lighter than that brick of a 4S that I have to lug around. That's reason enough for me to buy one.

Oh boy new adapters! Didn't see this planned obsolescence in the works. What a cronk of crap. My 4Gs will serve me well and I'm a Gen-Yer or whatever (maybe not representative though). The Otterbox case I have on my fragile iPhone makes it 2x as large anyways.

Buy a smartphone like you would any tool or device. I've been using a 3GS for years, replacing my Palm. It may be time for a new phone.

The preorders sold out in less than 1 hour. I plan on getting one sometime in the next few months but i'm in no huge rush.

Apple won't get my money, no thanks. If their lawsuits ends the ability for me to get a decent smartphone, then I'll go back to the old style...it would save me money, anyway.

I saw an article the other day claiming that this phone will jump start the economy...through the sales alone. I had to laugh when i read that BS

Dumbest thing I did this year was to change to an Iphone 4s. What a POS for a business tool.

I'm in. My phone is 4 years old and failing, plus I qualify for the upgrade. It'll be helpful for my work as well.

I might order the 5 in January when I switch to Verizon, but we shall see.

Not smart...look at the data plans, they're capped now.

what else is new. I've had a capped ATT data plan for almost 2 years now and I never go over a 1 GB. I do think their pricing is absolutly stupid. $15 for I think 256mb, go over that and its another $15 for another 256. or spend $25 and get 2GB.

I use wifi a lot and only use 3G when I need to use the map or some other app. I could get by with 1GB a month but they do not offer such a tier.

If I could keep my unlimited, I'd go for a newer 4G phone in a heartbeat...but that' not going to happen.

Lumia 920 is next for me..
