What is a fair price for 4 doors rust free with power windows mirrors and door panels

1985 300TD. Rust free no dents ?

I am parting out a car and a guy wants them. I’m not a Mercedes guy, but they are hard to find here in Wisconsin rust free if at all.

I do understand that it is a buyer’s market and I am not expecting what local pick and pulls want.

I have called the local ones to get some idea.
I have been told doors with nothing no trim or windows are 100 and up
Full doors with all the parts are 225-275 a door.

I bought the car for the om617. And I am parting the rest out.

Thanks for the help
Mike

Shipping doors make it expensive so the market is localized. Put them on CL and find out what the market is. In FL for example there are more junk yard cars so they would be much less valuable there than in a local which has few of them.

around here doors off any model are 30-50 bucks apiece.

That guy would have to be desperate to pay 1000 bucks for 4 doors, if you charged 250 apiece. You can get many entire cars for less than that, I would consider that a high price for the whole car personally, sans the motor you kept

Id probably tell him 200-250 for all 4 doors.

I’m not trying to make a mint but would like a fair price. I was thinking 50-75 a door. But if it is too much it’s too much.

The thing is to have someone in your locallity that needs them. You seem to have that. Ask him what he considers fair pricewise.

My feeling is that four complete doors no less than fifty apiece. They are in reality worth more but once again the demand has to be there to get it.

Quickly trying craiglist might help establish if there is other interest locally. In my area for instance there is pretty well zero demand at this time. You could ask for his complete doors as part of the deal to salvage usable regulators with motors etc out of. Never any harm in having them around. Or saleable as well if good.
