Google voice question
My wife set up a Google voice account. When someone calls her number, they're asked to leave their name and the system does what it does to make my wife's phone ring. Is there a setting that bypasses the caller leaving his/her name?
Thanks, Sixto 87 300D |

click the settings tab in upper right. click calls tab. under call screening, unclick 'ask unknown callers to state their name' |
Thanks! It worked! I'm getting old if I don't have the intuition to figure out these things within a couple of minutes of looking.

Me too. Its nice to use for texting when I don't feel like pulling out my phone and typing in its touch screen. I have it forwarding to GTalk so I can text anyone easily.
Gotta love the voicemail-to-text bit. Some people it cannot do. The translations are rather fun. |
