Catch Can, Ford 2.3/ 2.5

This one is way OT, but that's why it's in OD

I'm probably overthinking this, but when installing a catch can on my '98 Ranger (Inline 4, 2.5L).I'm looking to avoid the building that occurs with a recirculated PCV and an EGR. I'm keeping the EGR, it does it's job just fine on the gas engine

Should I be splicing into the valve cover breather or the PCV valve on the side of the block, or both?
