Jordon-Boots On The Ground

Here we go again?
Bet it's specop people to take out chemical weapon sites.

Quote:
A U.S. defense official in Washington said the forces are made up of 100 military planners and other personnel who stayed on in Jordan after attending an annual exercise in May, and several dozen more have flown in since, operating from a joint U.S.-Jordanian military center north of Amman that Americans have used for years.

Probably just dusting off the equipment at one of the pre positioned sites we have had there for many years. In my opinion Turkey is going to provide the invasion cover story and we will be dragged in as a NATO participant and take out the chemical and biological sites. It will not be the USA invading, it will be NATO...wink,wink. The chem and bio are and will be too loose to have remaining in existence. I am actually surprised it has not happened already.

Then the **** spreads and IRAN gets ballsy and tries to take out an Israeli or USA asset. US Bases will be hit in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, and elsewhere by IRG or other wings of Iranian control...Hezbull****, Muslim Brotherhood, etc etc

A number of US Cities will have become targets of small but coordinated terror attacks. Nothing as large as 9/11 but just large enough to screech us all to a halt. Economy stops, schools close, people cower in fear, Marshall Law is enacted and we have no election on 11.6.12

Russia and China get supportive of Syria in a big way....not by putting troops in Syria but by starting other actions elsewhere ......China "accidentally" sinks a Japanese Coastal patrol boat. Oops sorry about that. Vietnam then sinks a Chinese fishing boat, again by accident.....China deploys its "Blue Navy" to project dominance in the region and gets into an altercation with one of our Pacific Carrier Groups...we lose a few ships, they lose all of theirs, Pacific trade routes are shut down...all of SE Asia except China and NK scramble under our umbrella for coverage. Guam is hit by a barrage of non nukes missles from China. We invade Macau and raid the casino mini bars. WalMart is forced to temporarily close most stores as inventory is unavailable. Russia shuts down European natural gas exports just in time for winter. Western Europe cowers in fear as they have no chance of standing up to Putin. EU collapses. France and Germany consider a union and leave the rest of Europe to rot away. Consideration fails and the militarize their borders and once again Europe is dominated by Germany and France in a pissing match.

WWW3 starts

Purely hypothetical....I think it was a plot from a recent movie.

Btw, I have to love these news agencies and Panetta himself for blabbing to all that we have these troops in place. Do we really need to know as John Q Public each and every troop movement? Or is this a case of "watch this hand but just dont catch on to what I am doing with the other"? Whats the real reason the Sec DEF announced this? Is it political theater to show that the President is taking a stand? Or is it a classic wag the dog?

Where NATO goes, we go....it's the warm up time

So far, NATO has rejected Turkish appeals for help against Syria. On
Oct. 9, NATO secretary-general Anders Fogh Rasmussen disclosed a plan to
help Ankara in any war against the Assad regime.

“We have all necessary plans in place to protect and defend Turkey if
necessary,” Rasmussen said before an emergency meeting of NATO defense
ministers. Turkey threatens force as ‘worst-case scenario’ to change Syrian regime | World Tribune
