How to find interior color code

Looked on the door panel but no luck.how can I use the Vin #?

Post the vin number here and I think I can get it.

Or go the Mercedes Benz dealer and give them the VIN# and they can pull up the vin # instantly on their Vehicle Master Inquiry and it will show.

On my black 1991 560 SEC it is 199/261 for example.

199 = Pearl Black

261 = Black leather.

I'm not surprised. My dealer svc. dept. wouldn't look up the VIN after I told them it was in their computer. I was looking for a 1988 W124 rim part #.
It might be against MB or dealer policy to do so.
Unless you show up at the dealer, you're probably just wasting their time.;)
You used to be able to get a lot of info with the VIN from that old Russian site. I'm not so sure you can still get any info there, however. (At least not in English:P)
