Q for IT folks..Thunderbird 'SENT' box question.

To any IT folk who are Mozilla Thunderbird savvy. I searched for an answer before and no joy. So I'm still looking.

My Thunderbird email client, whether in XP Pro or LINUX Mint stores my sent emails okay but stores the graphics as lines of code and are irretrievable.

Any idea why and if it's possible to store as original pictures or graphic ? ....have the question floating around on Thunderbird Support but no response yet.

Like this example......:.......

plus another 300 lines of code.

I usually right click and 'Copy Image' if I need to send a picture not in my Pictures file..

Then 'paste' to email and send. The SENT email is stored in the SENT MAIL of Thunderbird.

The written message is still readable but picture is now hundreds of lines of code.

BTW...I always check for copy write and prohibited/restricted reproduction and include source where quoted "......." unless disallowed .
