Ever Try the Ignore Function on this Forum?

For those of you who might not be aware, it is very easy to put a poster on IGNORE so you don't have to read their posts. It is a very nice feature. If there is a poster that bothers you in some way, just click on the User CP and select "Edit Ignore List." Even if you don't know their exact poster ID, get close and selections will appear for you to choose from.

If there is someone whose posts get under your skin, you can simply ignore them rather than cause ulcers for yourself and cause a bunch of grief for the moderators.

It works great! Give it a try.:)

Moderators can't use it Larry:).

Are you inviting people to ignore you? Careful, you might not have anybody left to talk to.

No, I'm sure you couldn't do your job if you did anyway. Too bad though. It makes life much easier.

Thanks for doing such a thankless job, with lack of the ignore feature most likely being the easiest part of it.:)

The problem with using the "IGNORE" function is that when others who aren't "IGNORING" the Ignoree decide to "QUOTE" the ignoramus in their responses.

Sorta' takes the wind out of the "IGNORE" sails a bit.

Small price to pay for sanity. :D

I tried to put myself on ignore, but it didn't work for some reason.

I mainly wanted to put myself on ignore, because I ANNOY myself daily and am tired of listening to myself.

I've tried to listen to myself, but I never heard anything. I wonder if it's because I stopped talking so I could listen?
