For the bacon man, er, CLK Man...

I don't know whether this is all bacon or whether there's a turkey under there, but either way I know you'd like it...

Have you tried a product called Bacon Salt?

It's a salt that is bacon flavored.

Kroger carries it.

We bought some and it tastes good on everything.

Food Network Magazine recently featured a two page spread of bacon wrapped things, like tater tots, corn on the cob, and the list goes on

I always say bacon is the magic ingredient.

Everything tastes better with bacon.

LOL

As I read this, I am munching on a cup of strawberry ice cream.

It's just fine without bacon, thank you very much.

From this month's Food & Wine

Bacon Candy
20 slices (1.5#) thick cut bacon
1/2 C light brown sugar
1.5 tsp chile powder

Preheat oven to 400 F
Mix sugar and chile powder in a bowl
Arrange bacon on foil lined pans, coat with chile sugar
Bake 20-25, till sugar is caramelized, ALMOST crisp.
Transfer to wire rack over newspaper or foil to fully cool and harden.

That gives me a great idea, G. Instead of bacon wrapped turkey, why not just make a Bacurkey? Not unlike the concept of tofurkey, except it would be delicious!

Talking right now!!!

WOW!!! I'm hungry; like straving all of a sudden. It's a good thing our Thanksgiving Luncheon starts in 6 minutes!!!!

I just fixed corn on the cob (sans bacon) on the Traegar last night; quite tasty; which complimented the salmon on the grill, too. Rice along with green beans served with a refreshing chilled chardonnay was an excellent choice to serve my "dinner guest".
