Yeah its been for sale for awhile, they were asking some crazy price awhile ago, $375k I think.

Its a fake so meh, I rather have a T55. Doesn't have any tank coolness inside, and the gun isn't real.

If you brought in a T55 wouldn't they make you decommission the gun?

I never looked into that, but I do see some pretty nice hardware in private hands....so well see.

Might be able to register it with the BATFE as a destructive device/and or manufacture sample.

76MM HELLCAT TANK DESTROYER! - YouTube
For example this 76MM seems to be functioning pretty well.

90mm T8 Cannon Tears a hole in a hillside - YouTube
So does this 90mm

I think its more of a question of how much you want to spend, because this area of military collecting is for very rich men. Ted for example who seems to have a few bucks can't afford to play in this field. Although he did mount an MG42 on his Ferrari...so does that count as an Italian army mechanized support vehicle?

Roughly twenty-five years ago I passed up a fully functioning MG-42. I am not an expert on weapons, but I think that was the model. It was a German machine gun with a barrel that could be quickly changed out.

The asking price was $8,000.

Should I have made the purchase? I would not know where to look to determine a realistic price.

Yeah that's a pretty important thing to look I to isn't it

Wait the Kiwi's first name is Ted? Huh, never knew (Did you check out his latest video? Any luck getting a hold of him?)

That tank would be good for Black Friday Shopping. I don't think finding a parking place would be a problem with that tank.

True that. You could even park it right on the sidewalk as I doubt that the mall security could find a tow truck capable of moving in

Nope. The late Jacques Littlefield, billionaire tank collector in California, of all places, had about 30 tanks before he died.

On the 4th of July, he would drive one himself over multiple Japanese vehicles.

$20k-$40k now, if it was a real clean none parts gun maybe a heck of a lot more than that.
