Inconclusive. Participation rate down 0.2% since last month, near all time lows. (For the record, I still supported Obama over Romney, so no partisan agenda here.)

Since July 2012:

73% of the jobs 'created' were Government jobs.

For every 1 job 'created' 1.7 jobs were lost.

The regime's latest 'jobs estimate' was 33K off to the upside.

Which says nothing about the 500,000+ that gave-up looking for work in the same timeframe.

The funding of government jobs acts like just another tax on all of us. There's no productivity contributed to GDP by Gov't. jobs, just more out-of-control spending. Hence, are they really 'jobs?'

Thank you Jesus, I mean Barack!

Clearly, threatening to tax the top 2% has brought about an economic miricale.

Thank you Barack, oh thank you!

Yay?

Quote:
In November, 2.5 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force, essentially unchanged from a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally adjusted.) These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as unemployed because they had not searched for work in the 4 weeks preceding the survey.

Among the marginally attached, there were 979,000 discouraged workers in November, little changed from a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available for them.
It would seem the quickest way to improve the employment rate is just get to the point that the unemployed just lost any hope of finding a job.

Do we have a definition of what "government jobs" are? Federal, state, county? Teachers, law enforcement, dog catcher?

When the facts bear out that more ppl are losing their jobs 1.7 than are being hired 1 - what part of that deficit isn't able to be understood by anyone?

When 73% of 'jobs created' in the recent months is being done by Government - at the risk of being trite - what part of that fact is not able to be understood?

Yeah and it appears that we will now be going farther into the Spring and maybe even into the Summer.

For many zealous Democrats or Obama zealots, they couldn't understand what you are saying in a million years.

Mary picks an apple a minute and puts them in a basket, her fat Marxist brother eats those apples at a rate of 1.7 a minute. How long before its Bushs fault?
