A friend has this same van, he paid ~$1,000 for the shop to replace the spark plugs and front brakes. We both agreed it was a steal

Got most of the stuff off of the back of the engine, now to get the anchillaries and serpentine off the front, and then get those damn spark plugs out so I can yank the manifolds and top end:eek:

I did that to my 97 Yukon. Cost me about 300 for the updated spider and parts. Well worth it. Truck never ran as good as it does now. A little better gas mileage as well.
Replaced the lower manifold gasket as well. It is known to leak there eventually.

Well, after more that a year of inactivity, immersed in stale gas, it appears the Fiero's 29 year-old fuel-pump has packed it in. So, since the fuel-tank is wedged inside the center-tunnel of G M's plastic sportscar concoction of Chevette and Citation parts, and I don't carry a service-station lift in my trunk, the Fiero will have to sit until it can get towed from my friend's townhome.
At least, I advised him to get permanent antique tags, which also exempts the car from the annual safety inspection, so he's got some time to decide what he'a going to do with the Fiero, before his homeowners association cracks the whip!

Happy Motoring, Mark

OK im a little stumped on the big aluminum casting for the AC compressor and PS pump on the driver side, Ive got all noticable bolts taken off top side and down below -there is still one thru bolt with a nut that appears to be a pivot point for the PS pump,, do you remember the hidden bolts on this bracket?
