Idiots bare everything from their most intimate relationships to what last night's dinner looked like this morning on FB and then go crying about it.
Go figure.

I haven't deleted my facebook, I just never go there.

I had a guy ask me to join his Linkedin group. He stiffed me for my commission on the sale of his car in 2007. When I pressed him a bit for payment, he became really nasty and I actually felt his responses were bordering on real threats! I dropped the whole idea as being not worth my time or effort.
When he asked me to join his group recently ( several times ) I finally asked him why he would want a crooked, lying, cheating, SOB, as part of his empire. :P
Haven't seen anything back from him. Do you think I should add anything to my list of bad people things that I might have forgotten and get back to him?

I'm no different on FB then in real life. So if I had been in Justin's shoes I would have handled it just like you would in real life. ****ty people exist every where, just learn how to ditch them.

Correct, However if you refuse to ditch then at the first sign of trouble, you only have yourself to blame for the consequences and not Facebook or any other system

You are far nicer than I... Likely I would have accepted so I could farm his contacts and begin the 'information campaign' in earnest...

I'm different in real life... I'm three dimensional.

I don't do FB or Myspace.

I'm old fashion I still think their are certain things in life that need to be kept private. I don't feel the need to "check in" at every place I hang out at. Sometimes I don't want to be found! What a novel idea!

Yeah, I thought about that but indictiveness requires a lot of energy - something I don't have a lot of.

Still, it took a lot of balls to think I'd actually want anything to do with him even at an internet level.

Can't Know 12-19-2012 04:31 AM

I originally signed up under a pseudonym just to view my niece's updates when she spent a semester abroad. I personalized it and started using it a couple of years later when I renewed my involvement in theater. I don't take too much of it personally, and don't put up with much drama or nonsense...I save that for the stage. ;)

I wholly agree with deleting that "friend" -- and not just on facebook. What an immature, self-centered turd.

You are 'old fashion.' If you are carrying that smart phone around, 'I don't want to be found.' isn't an option. Those things know right where you are (ok, maybe just the phone) and can tell anyone that knows how to ask.
