Talking Anyone here lived in Cambridge/Boston Area?

I just wanted to know if anyone on this board lives in the Boston area? My wife has been accepted to Harvard Medical school!!! What are some of the affluent areas to live? We don't want to live in the dorm. We plan on buying a townhouse. Plus, I need a garage to park my baby. We will be getting a 2nd car for SURE!

Areas I have been considering:

Belmont
Billerica
Bedford
Natick
Watertown
Back Bay (Boston)

I plan to stay within 20 miles from Harvard Medical school in Boston. Has anyone had any experiences with the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Somerville, MA? When the family and I visited the area in November, our ML blew a tire.

Hi,
I live in Webster, just south of Worcester.

Boston has great Mass Transit , so you can live outside the city . Natick, Framingham , Waltham, just about anywhere in a 20 mile radius and the T as its called will make your commute easy.

Stay away from South Boston,

Congradulations and good luck,
John

Foreign Motors West in Natick has a good reputation. They also support the local MBCA section.

I live in Boston.

I took my car to Chamber Motorcars (or something like that). The price that they charged for oil change was pretty reasonable (I think). Their service was also really good and people there were pretty friendly despite the fact that I drove the chepest MB there. They actually washed the car after the service too.
