Hairy cowhide seat covers?

Anybody have a seat covered with a cowhide with hair? I have a large one and think it might look cool as a seat cover in my 39 Studebaker coupe express. Does anyone have one as a seat cover? I am wondering if it would be comfy or not?

Sounds like sheepskin seat covers, except tougher.
Warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.

I have had the sheepskins before and under the tight conditions they are lovely, but in the summer they were hot.

I have a hair-on cowhide covered chair. It's slippery, as the hair all lays in one direction. Sheds a bit too but it's pretty old. Looks better than it sits.

Slippery? That is the last thing I expected to hear! How about hot? I guess considering where you live, it must not be a problem that way.

Sounds like it may work ok for my purposes. I don't plan to do much hard cornering in the coupe express.

Thats cool but I am not sure yet what steering column I might use. if I keep the original one something like this is in order. I might even use on from a 123 benz so this would not be needed.

Thanks for thinking of me though!
