Im up in utah for work. about 300 miles from home. i got a nasty infection in my leg and had to go to the urgent care up here. bad enough of an infection they had to cut me open, i have to go back to them 3 days in a row for injected antibiotics. they also prescribed me 2 different oral antibiotics and 45 percoset.

throughout the work day yesterday i took 3 percs. we got back to the hotel around 10 lastnight and i crashed right away. i had my bag with all my meds on my bed with me when i went to sleep. i woke up in a ton of pain at 4am and couldnt find my bag. my co worker informs me that he was worried that i would knock my bag of the bed, so he moved it to the floor. went in the bathroom to take my pill and noticed the bottle looked really empty. there were only 20 pills in the bottle. when i confronted him he did the whole , did you look under the bed? maybe you spilled them blah blah.

i already despise this kid, but im stuck workin with him as he is the owners son in law. he has tried to sell me pills several times in the past, and anytime he is prescribed some, he sells them.

luckily the dr took care of getting me more but im pissed.

i called the office and let his father in law know what happened, but as usual it will probably get ignored.

Wow! Talk about kicking someone while they're down? Someone stealing the medicine from someone that's hurting? THAT is one sleazoid, scumbag SOB.

I have been away from home on a job and gotten really sick before, but not as bad as you describe. I can't imagine how it would have been if someone would have been stealing my medicine. Being sick is bad enough, being sick away from home is REALLY bad, and then stacking on top of that not having the necessary meds sounds like hell on Earth.
