Aye. The chart doesn't differentiate the "entitlement" programs etc , which are exempt from this from the discretionary programs that take the full brunt.

Nothing's been "cut" yet- so how do you know? Who makes the calls on where the "cuts" will take place?

Folks like Gov. Malloy-D (CT) who says sequestration will result in the furlough of 576 National Guard personnel. Because the state's increase will be 2% less than anticipated. IOW, despite the economy's negative effect on the state's revenues, we have so horribly managed the state's finances that we've cherry picked the National Guard personnel to divert any attention from our incompetence.

CT already has police, fire, and rescue personnel on the local and state levels. Are 576 weekend warriors really significant?
