A friend's sisters co worker has been diagnosed with lung cancer despite never smoking a day in his life... He has 0 family as he was raised in foster homes from pretty much the beginning of his life. if you feel the urge to, would you consider sending a get well card to him to let him know other people are thinking of him? I can't imagine not having a support structure of some kind. I'm lucky enough to work with a very good friend, but outside of him, relying on co-workers for support, validation, etc. would just suck.
Thanks for thinking of him, that kind of thing is a huge encouragement as well.
