New drinking game.

Every time BC writes the words "factually incorrect" everyone takes a drink.

oh darn i was going to ignore him!

t_walgamuth was actually pegging me down a notch but now i feel like this has turned into a personal attack thread now.
I don't mean to attack you, just the subject....sorry if you thought I was wanting to take you down a notch.

Mr "factually correct" strikes again !
There is even a member with reference to your handy work with infractions in their sig line. They had 2 reversed. Oh what a short memory some have.
Please provide proof of the claims being unfounded.
You are quick to try & bring one of your little mates into the argument.

This is factually incorrect, the individual that provided the majority of them is no longer a moderator.
You appear to be the one doing the accumulation. Best look at the top right hand corner of your posts.

This is a slur on the site owner. Its a bit like some one getting off a charge on a "legal technicality" ~ them being innocent.
Details please BC !!
The gestapo style moderation of this site ended some time ago. Problem is some of the gestapo ran off to South America & filter back from time to time.
Havent you got a stuck spark plug to occupy your time?

You made the claim. It is factually incorrect. Bill Wood never reversed a single infraction. Let see if you can prove otherwise.

It is absolutely correct. The folks that banned you due to multiple infractions are part of the current moderation team. The fact that one is no longer there doesn't detract from the fact that you cannot behave properly, independent of any infractions that occurred during my tenure.

Problem is that you received all of your infractions from other moderators, and yet, you consistently choose to believe that my moderation was your issue. Over three years have elapsed and you still remain deluded.

BTW, your ongoing whining to the site owner apparently does benefit you significantly. Keep it up!!

Wow. 27 pages, over 400 posts. And a whole lot of arguing. I grew up in northern Minnesota. Dont even try telling me rwd anything will outperform an AWD/4X4 in deep snow. 2WD means you stay home, or you get stuck.

Yes, many with 4X4 get stuck in light snow simply because they drive like morons. Short wheelbase 4x4's will easily spin around going around a corner if you boot it. But thats the nut behind the wheel. Thats why it has a shiftable transfer case, so you only use 4X as needed.

BTW, I too owned a 300SD 126 and drove it a couple winters. Its better than many other RWD cars, but marginally at best. Anything 4WD would go through much deeper snow with much greater authority.

As far as handling on ice, only in a straight line is 4WD much advantage. The problem is steering, and spinning tires dont steer. FWD is awesome for pulling you, horrific at slowing you down (back end wants to come around). Front engine RWD isnt so great at pushing, but is much safer. Take your foot off and the car has a natural tendency to straighten out. Its more controllable.

All things equal, an capable AWD/4WD, in capable hands, has no equal on low traction deteriorated roads. On dry black top its a different story, and mid/rear engine RWD is more often the champion. AWD with traction control and ABS is pretty awesome, and very capable, especially with someone who knows how to drive it. However, a 300 4matic is still not really capable of deep wet snow. That is where the getting you stuck 4 times farther off the road comes from. You have to know the vehicles limitations.
