Looks like the shooter in the recent murders of those Texas justice system folks was the wife of a recently disgraced justice of the peace. Might explain why the last guy opened his front door without due caution.

Yes and isn't it interesting that the initial speculation was that it was an act of the Aryan Brotherhood? If that had panned out to be true, that would have opened up a whole new chapter.

I can't quote a source, but in reading about all of this I ran across a comment from some 'expert' on White Power groups. He said he was puzzled about all the Aryan Brotherhood attention since none of the known facts of the three murders fit in with the known facts of how the AB operated.

He was quick to point out that the AB was one very nasty bunch of criminals, but it was unusual for any criminal group to change their way of doing things so quickly. His comments reminded me of the scene in 'Double Indemnity' where the insurance actuary comments on how he has facts on thousands of accidental deaths but there was not one case of anyone falling off the back of a train by accident. Therefore, the dead guy must have been pushed.

I guess the Perp here thought they could send the Cops off on a wild goose chase, but apparently the Cops were too busy working the case to read the newspapers where a lot of political types had 'facts' about who was to blame.

Just going by memory here, but....

It seems a DA in the Houston area was working an AB case in south Texas or somewhere along the gulf coast. The first guy killed in Kaufman was assisting in some way the DA in the Houston area.

This would have let the AB become a suspect if someone started yelling 'AB, AB' like they did in Kaufman. It would have also provided a cover for the real shooter since the AB would have motive, more or less, and all the attention would be turned towards them and away from the true killer.

I am sure all of this will come out at the trial.
