IIRC there was a very little Harley put out back then of about 100cc, also there was the Harley 250cc which was a rather sweet riding but not very high quality bike made in Italy, which prolly is not worth a lot either, but as some noted either might be worth something if you want to get into selling it.

I had a Harley 350 back from about 74 to 77. It had a lovely fly yellow paint job with dayglow orange flames on the tank....looked great. Kindof a POS though. Ocassionaly it would fail to start and I would reach up under the seat where there was a bid wad of wiring and just grab a handful and wiggle it and then it would start.

Oh yes, those were the days!

Mine had the street fenders and full seat like the black bike but was yellow with the dayglow like the scrambler version.

The people stopped by and I couldn't get the mower to start. Just now I drained the old gas out of the tank and the carb. Took out the spark plug and cleaned it and put in a new battery and it started up perfectly. So the trade is on. They will be bringing the Harley Davidson with them on a trailer. They said that the HD belonged to her 87 yo dad, they said that he wasn't able to drive it any more in a safe manner. I really don't know what I am going to do with a Harley.

Post pictures, of course! :D

Seriously, do you have a motorcycle license? If you don't, then... what?

Here, I just remembered this -- maybe this is how you can retire at 65!

I will post pics when they show up with the Harley. :D

At least in PA when I learned, if you had a car license already, you could go to the DOT, get a $10 permit, and "practice" riding during daylight hours without passengers. Then in 3 months you were allowed to schedule a road test. (Some people just kept renewing their permit annually without ever taking the darn test already.)

I bought this mower 3 years ago and used it twice. An elderly man came to the shop and told me that he would mow my 1 acre plus trim around for $30. I parked the mower after that. :D

Nice looking mower you just sold. I worked one summer in high school putting hours on prototype mowers for Snapper. Hydro transmissions were pretty nice. We also had a few zero turning radius (ZTR) mowers that you controlled with only a stick, sort of like the cyclic control on a helicopter. Also a hydro tranny, but with a different user interface. I thought they were pretty cool, at least as far as lawn mowers go.
