If you want to do things the way the car mags do it, nominate the Toyota Echo, because its a Toyota and its dirt cheap, and price is the most important factor in rating a car.

Personally I second your nomination. I was in one at the local MB dealership yesterday. Sweet ride.

For my nomination, I'd pick the C32. 350 horsepower out of a supercharged V-6 (and who exactly are the morons who whine that it isn't a "pure" tuner Mercedes because of the supercharger? I guess they, umm, never heard of this old Mercedes called the 540K that shows up at events such as the Pebble Beach Concurs that has a supercharger... ) And, it sells for $55,000 dollars and it is slightly faster than both the E55 and the highly touted 500E, true? Definately my top pick.

Yes I would nominate the C32 AMG as the sleeper car of the year. I mean from the outside, it's so hard to distinguish it from another C. The only way to tell is by driving it.

For the car most likey to be sold above cost? Anything with a Prancing Horse on the hood. Some full-size SUV's will rival the Ferrari.

For the car that will be proclaimed the Motor Trend Car of the Year? Whoever ponies up the most ad dollars for MT's publications and TV shows.

For the car most likely to blow the doors of some squid in his 5.0 without the kid having any idea of what happened? The C32 AMG.

The car most likely to be featured in rap videos? G500 Mercedes.

For the most disappointing price? The new Mini. Completely out of spirit with the original Mini. Too bad.

For the "look at the big 'ol ass on that" award? The new 7-series BMW.

The car most likely to be hated by me? The Porsche Cayenne.

And an special award to VW, for driving upmarket of it's partner Audi. What are they thinking?
? is there a mirror on my keyboard? Well put.
