He Was Singing Like a Canary

Just as I suspected, boy-boy wants to cut a deal to spare his miserable bee-hind, and is prepared to sing like a canary, as about 8 announcers on FOX were going on about t'other day. Before he stopped owing to being read his Miranda rights, that is. This will be Singing Like a Canary, 2.0. Oh horrors, we've gone soft on terror, reading citizens their Miranda rights

Colbert had a hoot of a routine on the FOXsters repeating the 'singing like a canary' line over and over:

The Colbert Report 04/25/13 MOCKING Fox News SINGING LIKE A CANARY Dzhokhar Tsarnaev MIRANDA RIGHTS - YouTube

He was singing like a canary, see? He was squealing like a pig, dropping a dime, like a dirty rat, a stoolie, everything was jake, we had this guy dead to rights, about to send him up the river, to the big house, the pen, the klink, the hoosegow, the slammer, the joint, the graybar hotel. It was all eggs and crackers til the chief got all hinky and gave us a double cross, the runaround, the high hat. That's what's eating me see. Why, I oughta fix his wagon but good, give him a pair of Jack Johnsons right in the how's your old man. So thank you FOX and Friends for the hot scoop. Ya done good. And the big boss is real happy (picture of Murdoch). Cause sometimes to get the word out about a guy singing like a canary, you gotta repeat those talking points like a parakeet.

The man is an American citizen and presumed innocent. Suspending his constitutional rights is a terrible precedent.

I couldn't agree more. Who was it again that invoked the Public Safety male Bovine excrement?

Whoever it was, they finally figured out their typical liberal hypocricy and changed their mind. It was quite a giggle watching the very same group that invoked Mirand Rights in the first place, wanting to do away with them "just this once."

Face it libs, there is no shortage of hypocricy in BOTH parties.

I thought this was in interesting episode in history.

At one time Conservatives whined on about how any possible means should be used to get information if there was a threat of an attack. Something like 'If you thought a bunch of folks were about to get killed and the person knew something then the Constitution is just a piece of paper' or whatever.

So then a real life case comes up, the suspect is questioned, and Conservatives all get the Vapors over how his rights are being abused.

You can't make this stuff up.

I absolutely DO believe that in such an instant, there is virtually nothing, within the law is off the table for getting information IF that information can potentially save lives.

The irony in this particular case, however, is that the lefties are the ones that brought on the Miranda Rights and the Lefties were the ones willing to set them aside, JUST THIS ONCE. It's even more laughable when you remember the gazillion times that they have invoked their knee jerk claim of hypocricy with anything concerning conservatives.

waterboard his sorry ass... I don't care... hell, I'll volunteer to do it....just don't ***** about it later....I submit to you he got his citizenship under false pretense, in order to carry out jihad....therefore it should be revoked and he should be awarded enemy combatatant status. ... If we don't have the BALLS to properly interogate him here, let's get some of our friends in other places do it....

Yup. The Conservatives were falling all over themselves whining about how his Miranda rights were being denied, and then, when they were not, were falling all over themselves because they were not. I think that is normally called 'bending with the wind'.

You can't make this stuff up.

After he was taken into custody he started being questioned under the Public Safety rule and the right went nuts. After he was read his Miranda rights the right went nuts.

This is because the right wing controlled press knows this is not about the Constitution or rights or even getting information. It is all about a chance to make Obama look bad.

And after all, isn't that what's really important to the right wing?

You care to post some details about how the right "went nuts" because they were trying to get information from this guy?
