Spell checker appears by magic

During my most recent unannounced computer restart (have to install updates, doncha know, so important they can't waste time telling me to save my work) or rather, after said shutdown, I went back online and whattayaknow, an Apple style built in spellchecker was going on. Even does autocorrect, a feature I gather one must keep an eye on. I can only guess Microsoft decided to expand its empire.

Works pretty well, I'm especially happy for this development as it regards one of my good buddies on the forum.

Chris! Thanks for checking in bro! I hope this spell checker has appeared in your browser by the same magic with which it landed in mine as I'm persuaded that a man with your intellectual curiosity is interested in perfecting all aspects of his mind, including accurate and respectful use of this groovy language we got from the bloody Brits.

God speed good sir and carry on!!

A spell checker would have no problem with this ditty:

Eye have a spelling chequer,
It came with my Pea Sea.
It plane lee marks four my revue
Miss Steaks I can knot sea.

Eye strike the quays and type a whirred
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am write oar wrong
It tells me straight a weigh.

Eye ran this poem threw it,
Your shore real glad two no.
Its vary polished in its weigh.
My chequer tolled me sew.

A chequer is a bless thing,
It freeze yew lodes of thyme.
It helps me right all stiles of righting,
And aides me when eye rime.

Each frays come posed up on my screen
Eye trussed too bee a joule.
The chequer pours o'er every word
Two cheque sum spelling rule.

I've seen that one before but it's a good one. A spell checker is a limited tool no doubt but a useful one IMO. It's notified me of words I had been misspelling for years. But it's no substitute for the good ol' human mind.
