Damn those power supply things are expensive for that guy!
A few threads I came across said to just buy some "Power One" power supplies from one of the parts houses (Mouser/Newark/Digikey) and wire them in. Evidently it needs +/- 17V and +48V.

yea that was the funny thing. i pulled a 24v power supply out of the same place this came from with the intent of using it elsewhere. then i got to looking at it and noticed a switch to make it a 48v supply. im thinking about cobbling up a psu to test it with. if i can show it works, ill sell it at a fair price and the new owner can decide if they want to spend the bucks on the proper psu.

I would imagine it's worth a couple hundred bucks, especially if it could at least be shown to power up.
Hard part is finding someone who wants an old analog console.... I have a couple PM4000's I'll sell ya... price has been reduced to $3500 Brand new condition with roadcases. These consoles sold for over 40k when new.... At least you have the Soundcraft sound going for you, they are head and shoulders above most any other small frame mixer (Mackie, Behringer et al), as long as you like that English thing. I used a series 5 for many years, loved that old console. Not sure what it requires for a power supply, but there is likely some sort of viable alternative. Maybe a supply from a different series of Soundcraft console. I would think the hardest part would be getting the right connector.
