This should get you anti gun freedom anti self defense guys going....
![]() This guy has a good idea; I wonder how long it will be before some anti-gun zealot will make political hay over this? Maybe Mr. Holder can pay him a visit.... ![]() Houston Man Provides High-Crime Neighborhoods With Free Pump Action Shotguns (Video) | The Gateway Pundit |

It sounds like a great idea, provided that proper training is part of each transaction. The fact that it gives the people the ability to defend against home invasions is wonderful.
I'm sure the antis are going insane and convulsing on the ground in disapproval.

Armed Citizens Project. I think this was mentioned here some time ago. There's also a branch in Tucson. The guns come with training as I recall.

Yeah but down here we are either cheaper than in Texas or we require better training. They're single-shots.
I'm a big time proponent of gun control. Gun control to me means putting rounds on target. If you can't hit what you're aiming at then no way in Yuma should you be allowed to carry a piece. Unfortunately, it seems as though all you need is to pass a "safety course" and "voila", yer an authorized "Dirty Harry". It makes me extremely nervous to walk into a convenience store and stand behind some bozos buying a 30 pack of beer at midnight packing pieces big enough to make them lean. Generally I'll walk out and wait for them to go. Don't get me wrong, l carry when I feel the need.

Not a useful or valid target. They are too easy to attract!

At least the guns are going into the hands of good people, and will never be in the possession of criminals.

Yip, I think that I'll just go into random neighborhoods and hand out samurai swords out to whomever wants one. Shouldn't have the potential to cause any mayhem, and hey, they can be used for self-defense!
