I actually met Sharpton, outside a restaurant in Baton Rouge, LA around '99. Walked outside and he was standing there, waiting for his car. Walked up and said hello. It seemed obvious that he was surprised and a bit anxious b/c his security was not around. Told him it was a pleasure to meet him and shook his had. Enjoyed wtching him squirm...

He took one look at you and figured............."Hope this white guy doesn't shoot me............."

yeah, that or something. I am 6'4" and well built, had short hair and my typical scowl...just out of the military & in very good shape. BR, has a history of poor race relations at times, I am sure that all went through his head. Just sw a pic of him, looks like maybe he has cancer or something....

yeah, that Juan Williams guy (black hispanic) can't be trusted to tell the truth, eh?

I don't know why it took so long for NPR to get rid of that jackass. He fits in perfectly with his fellow propagandists at Fox. Dyson's description of O'Reilly was exactly on point, Williams' out-of-context screed notwithstanding.

I am still waiting for someone to cite an example that shows how this particular racial episode illustrates hypocrisy by Jesse or Al.

Do you really think their reactions and actions would be the same as they are now? It's solely because of skincolor- the outrage they manufacture; nothing to do with ethics or history or right and wrong.

If I set the parameters for proof of something and i am the judge of what constitutes sufficient evidence, then I expect most of you will have a difficult attaining my goal.
