It's not possible for someone to be this dense, is it? The TM/GZ story got everyone's attention. It was highly unusual for many reasons.

It is not clear to me that TM jumped GZ. It is clear that GZ had a lot of time to concoct his story and that he knew what most all of the evidence that was potentially against him consisted of.

The nitwits who shot Lane will be in jail for a long time.

We need to have marches in the street. The parents of Trayvon Martin need to react to the killing of every white person by a black person the same way they reacted to their son being shot. Otherwise there is no justice in the world.

I knew an old guy who was walking the streets of Tulsa about 1 am when he was jumped by two guys. They pulled a knife on him and demanded the usual whatever.

He disarmed them, both of them, and cut them up pretty bad. When the Police got there they also called an Ambulance since one had already passed out.

He was walking around downtown because he was a Security Guard. I asked him why he was still working at the age of 83 and he said he got tired of just playing golf.

He was a Marine Corp Vet from World War 2 and Korea, and he said some things just never leave you.

Press coverage? None. And if it had gone the other way? Just another act of crime and it takes place everyday.

Well, one of the perps was just arrested. I read this in the Houston newspaper so the whole 'no nationwide coverage' thing is a moot point.

It seems that two young guys attacked an old guy sitting in his car late at night. I think the reason for this is rather easy to understand: The guy was an easy target. Criminals don't target a victim unless they think they will get away with it.

As Southpark pointed out in the 'Free Hat' episode there is a reason a psyco killer only killed babies: It was because it was easy.

Can't or won't because he can't milk it? Politicians are out for the sensation. You know that as well as I do. I suppose next you will tell me that the politicians were genuinely outraged at the bailout money being spent and the CEOs getting bonuses? Seriously? I don't believe either case but I lost my rose colored glasses a long time ago. Perhaps you could lend me yours?

My hypocrite remark was what you call SARCASM. Oh and by the way: 40 MURDERS A DAY! If Obama remarked on all of them he wouldn't do much else.

So why that one? Why not leave it to law enforcement and concentrate on what he is supposed to do? I mean YOU have ruled out the fact that he was trying to milk it. Further to that, if all the politicians don't do much else, we'd probably be better off.
