Amazing shooting!

BARRETT .50 CAL WORLD RECORD BY FASTEST SHOOTER- 6 SHOTS IN 1 SECOND! (Shoot Fast Excerpt) - YouTube

Wow is all I can say, that rifle is a beast! I doubt their are many people in the world who could do that.

That looks like fun. I got to fam-fire an M2 once. It was mounted on a Humvee, and the recoil was enough to shake the whole truck. I kept the lateral dispersion pretty small, but the vertical dispersion during a burst was pretty huge. And that was with a gun that weighed 75 lbs. I can't imagine what it must be like firing a 30 lb version from the shoulder. Guy can shoot. No doubt.

I'd like to see this happen at one of the local shooting ranges. I've seen one of the range masters almost have an aneurysm at people rapid firing .22lr.

I try to avoid lame ranges like that.

My gun club is slowly going that way so next year will probably be my last.

That does look like fun. Why would a range operator object to that sort of thing?

I dunno anything about shooting but long ago an athletic group I was involved with tested reaction times of group members and found that some are just wired to have faster reactions than others. No surprise, of course. Your reaction speed will stay with you until your nervous system starts to degenerate.

You can see a real world set of reaction times at every stop light in the form of how long does it take the person ahead or next to you to get off the brake and on the gas after the light goes green. It’s usually about 4 seconds.

Also, by my stopwatch this took about 2 seconds. How does the person come up under 1 second?
