Hagerty Insurance

Does anyone here have Hagerty for their insurance company?

The premium is surprisingly less than what I pay Geico. I have yet to investigate further but it looks like they will respect the fact that we value our cars more than what KBB says.

I do...$20K on the 107, no questions asked.

Not sure how you're driving your cars, but with the Grundy policy I have, they cannot be daily drivers and must be garaged to qualify for the reduced rate.

I've got a buddy that insures a fleet of old cars with Hagerty and has nothing but good things to say about he company. In his case, there is no mileage limit and the Hagerty towing policy applies to his moderns as well.

well i applied online. i declared that I drive both cars regularly putting 12k miles on each per year.

i had to submit pictures of the cars and submit the declaration page from Geico.

It will take a couple of days for them to approve. Let's see what happens.

$280 per year for both cars is not bad. The guaranteed value for each is $5000 if totalled.

Mutual insurance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Know what is meant by a mutual insurance company. Also know that it significantly changed twenty or so years ago.

They rejected me with the same application on my SL. I re-applied a year later with 1000 miles a year since I don't drive the cars much. $20,000 guaranteed for $511 every 6 months.

At the car shows/ events I attend, Haggerty usually has the prettier female representatives. Also their bags ( to put stuff in) are nice.

I have Hagerty. They accepted me right away, and it's damn cheap.

alas, they turned me down for two reasons-

1. no daily drivers allowed
2. they want the cars garaged (not parked in the driveway)

worth a shot.

Have them on the garage queen.

Haven't had any claims, but their rates are cheap!

If it were easy, everyone would do it. Seriously, you were going for classic car insurance for a daily driver that isn't garaged? I'm guessing that you alternate between the cars as your daily?

Have 'em for Gustav; worth the $208/year premium just for the towing coverage.

We have the 100 mile plan - and have used it half a dozen times on various vehicles (covers all my cars with any driver plus any I or Darling Wife happen to be borrowing/driving at any point in time).
