Fun online game

Anyone here playing E-Sim Secura? It's a game where you are a citizen of a country, battle other countries, and work within the economy. There's plenty of politics involved, since there are monthly votes for Congress and President. Congress votes on and controls the government's finances, and the President has a monthly budget to follow. Within that budget, soldiers are supplied with equipment needed for the battles.

There's also Stock Companies in the game. The SC's own different companies, ranging from raw materials to finished goods, and sells them on the open market...Stock owners reap the benefits of their investments, both good and bad.

You can also own your own business, trade within other countries, etc.

It really is fun. I personally belong to a political party that is against high taxes. The debates are lively, and just as ugly as real life.

I also belong to a military unit that has the highest daily damage of the eUSA. The reason that is impressive is that there are only 13 of us in the unit, and the government military unit has over 50...and we provide more damage than they do on a daily basis.

Click the link to find out more and join the game.

That sounds a lot like a game I have called "Rise of Nations". You have to build cities, keep the people happy and win wars and not go broke.

Close. There's no cities to build, but there's territories to lose or gain in battle.

Currently, I'm in the Congress. We are having a hell of a debate about taxes. One party wants a 17% rate, dropped from a 20%, only to appease those of us that have proven that a 14% rate is well within our budget. We've agreed to go 15% to help grow our accounts, but the other side refuses...it's like real life politics, with BS in the Congressional forums.

When I joined the game, Lithuania controlled all of the US and out resources. We've since been liberated and are building a stronger country.

If it wasn't for our allies, we never would have been able to be liberated.

As in real life, the alliances you form make the difference between success and failure...

I'm also a Mentor, showing new players the ropes, teaching how to snipe in the battles (waiting for the last 2 minutes of the round), helping them with finding employment, hiring some of them, etc.

I own 5 companies, employing 7 players and hold the position of CEO of a stock company, and company manager in another stock company.

It really is fun...just not as relaxing for me since I became a Congressman.

I envision a future where jobs and political offices are handed out based on a person's performance in reality based games of economics and management such as this rather than their ability to stand at a lectern and spout BS...

Exactly. The eUSA belongs to an alliance called Dynasty. In addition to the alliance, we have our own allies, that are not members of Dynasty. Dynasty, as well as our allies, started enough drain wars in other regions that drained damage and attacks from us being liberated. It took 2 weeks to plan, and another full week to be complete. Since then, we've gained all of Mexico, which is high in diamonds. The east coast is high in iron and the west is high in lumber.

We're actually talking about taking Canadian East Coast because they have the high grain that we need...it's going to be an interesting battle if it comes to fruition.

I don't think I'm going to run for Congress during the next election...the BS and dealing with children who play and were elected is taking too much out of me in the game. It's hard to concentrate on building alliances and running a stock company, as well as multiple businesses while dealing with petty snot noses. LOL

That would be interesting...at least people would have experience prior to practicing in real life.
