Anyone Interested in a Composites Class?
A friend of mine from back in the day has a well developed composites and custom fabrication business based in Indy. He is also fabricating an airplane from scratch using materials and techniques from the Indy car industry.
In the last year or so, he has branched out and is offering classes in composite fabrication. You have to be fairly committed to it as the classes run from Friday through Sunday and run $500. There's also travel and lodging to think about. I'm planning on going for it some time before the end of the year and it would be nice to get a few more on board to make it worth his time. Currently, there is no class scheduled but he will arrange a date if 3 or more are interested in a time slot. Here's his web site on his aircraft build up: ALGIE COMPOSITE AIRCRAFT

If I didn't have physical limitations, I'd be interested. Information like this could be used to help better my gunsmithing career.
