Innovative suspension by ZF

Great idea but.............I'm from Missouri.

Turn bumps into...amps/volts....whatever

"Genshock is a suspension system that recharges itself on rough roads. Each time your car or truck hits a bump, fluid in the shock absorber is forced through a pump that generates electricity which can be reused by the vehicle."

wow, I wouldn't need an engine at all to drive to work. Just push the car to the nearest pothole, get myself some juice, and rattle my way there.

You still get suspension travel when on the highway, not as much as a bumpy road but the strut still moves.
