What's good Mercedes music?

Whenever I turn on the tv nowadays there is always some piece of old rock music accompanying the latest Ford,Toyota,Honda ect,ect car.Now I was just thinking(dangerous pastime)what music do you all associate with your cars?Myself I'm very ecclectic, but the music that comes to mind to me is either jazz or classical.
Your thoughts please.Bear

90% of the time, whether I'm in the mercedes or in my truck, I have either Stevie Ray Vaughan or John Lee Hooker in the CD player. I believe I also have Natalie Merchant, CCR and B.B. King in the truck.

Tom Petty, Dyre Straights (& Mark Knopfller) Jethro Tull (& Ian Anderson), Police (& Sting), Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Beatles, Let Zepplin, The Doors, SRV, Hendrix, Bach, Brittany, Herby Hancock, Gentile Giant, Handel, Beethoven, Queen, Heart, Sady, Yes, Steve Nicks, Steely Dan Grover Washington Jr., Black Sabbath. Chick Corea (apologies for spelling errors). This just scratches the surface. The list is long….

I am looking foreword to the near future generation of Ipaq or similar devices that will permit me to carry and play about 400 of my favorite CDs everywhere I go. Anyone know of one of these that ties into the car system by way of a FM broadcaster???

On our way home from a wedding in the back seat of a S600 tonight we listened to The Faces O lala and Cowboy Junkies version of Sweet Jane. It was a wonderful ride until the women decided it was time to "talk".

Do you guys know the feeling?

Your head is back enjoying a masterpiece and you are interrupted with " some comment totally out of your current state of mind".

I personally like to chill in the Ferrari and listen to the Fossil Fuel Sound system. When I get disturbed it is usually not as pretty as the sound of the motor.
