I just downloaded "Eight Miles High" by The Byrds. Still holds up pretty well for a 49-year-old song.

My first concert attendance of the 2015, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain! Mostly comedy, but great artistry on four strings . . . don't go for the singing.

Now touring the westerns states of "the colonies."

Were you doing any "extra-curricular" activities at the time you played this? (both when it came out and this past weekend?)

I'm going through a funk at the moment, and have The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grateful Dead, and Cream playing for some good vibes.

I was in grade school when this song first came out, so I'm pretty sure that I wasn't dropping acid or anything like that.
