Lillyhammer, Steven Van Zandt, Norway

Has anyone checked out the new series "Lillyhammer" launched on Netflicks this February?
It stars Steven Van Zandt of the e-street band. I tried the first episode and it was great, so watched all 8 episodes of the first season.
Netflicks launched it this way so you can watch it at your leisure, and you don't have to wait until next week for the following episode. I think this is going to be the way of the future.

I thought he delivered a stunning role in this...it was a really good job and great plot once you get into it, although, you have to pay attention in this one.
-Van Zandt is clearly a fine actor and artisian in the film buisness....thinking he should win some awards for this one.

I think this will go for at least another season, or hoping maybe more. I understood it is filmed in Norway....very beautiful scenery in several ways and there is a nice Mercedes wagon in there somewhere. He drives an electric car in it, although I am unsure of the brand name.
Check it out!

I have it in my Netflix list. I will start it when I finish a Dutch crime show I'm watching at the moment: "Penoza", witch is pretty damn good for Dutch TV. European crime shows are so good these days it's hard to watch American drama, with exceptions like "the Killing" and "Breaking Bad".

Lilehammer, Norway.

Lillehammer Norway is a magical beautiful town. I am lucky enough to have actually visited it on part of a tour of Norway about a dozen years ago.

It was where the Olympics were once held, I believe back in 1984.

The series name "Lily Hammer" sounds a bit insulting, especially to Norwegians.something that people in Hollywood probably think is "funny".

I'd be pretty insulted if someone called my place of birth and what I considered my hometown if I learnt of a television show called "San Fran-sicko"..

If I owned a television I'd watch it maybe, but there is a reason I avoid American commercial television shows, (they are crap) but based on the title, at best all I think I would enjoy are the scenes filmed in Lillehammer.

I think the whole series is filmed there...not sure though. The begining scenes is in the states, maybe the first episode. Maybe I spelled it wrong, I better check next time netflicks is up. I did'nt mean to offend.

I have passed by "The killings" and even read the pre-info. and wondered about it. If it is in the same realm of "Breaking Bad" I am going to check it out tonight.

I did spell it wrong, but so did Netflix. It is spelled Lilyhammer...on the flix. I added an extra l. It is actually suppossed to be as you spelled it Lilehammer. I don't know why they would have done that, it's not funny,.
