Alright, who is the Brony....

Being bored I put a documentary on about Bronies and one of the guys in the documentary has a bunch of W123's and w115 diesels in North Carolina.

So, are you a member here?

If so, nice car.

After googling the term, I can't imagine being that bored. :D

I have to say I don't get the whole Brony thing AT ALL. I don't know if there is a general "feminization" of men going on, but this is at least evidence for their "de-masculinization"

Full grown men and cartoon ponies.
OK..... .

I'll just bet there are creepier and weirder that went down that road... ;)

I had to Google it.

It sounds like some weird subsets of Otakudom.

Had to google that one, too. Boy am I out of touch! :D

Every month or so as I was leaving the grocery store in Rocky Hill, I would notice a bunch of folks dressed up in animal costumes hanging out around the diner. After the 2nd time I thought it couldn't be a coincidence and mentioned it to my wife who thought I was going nuts. After the third time she googled it and discovered furries met there the first Friday of every month. It'd be a little disconcerting to some people if they had no idea what was going on.

There are lots of...um...interesting...people in this world!

dont worry, I had no idea what either were as well, and once again, googling something mentioned on this forum has left me regrettably enlightened. :D

One thing about the internet age, is it sure makes it easier to seek out and find people with the same interests as your own. This forum is a perfect example, there is probably a bronie forum too

Furries are weird people....there are a few in the area of Orlando. I see a few at Disney as well. In the Cosplay scene they are kind of outcasts and weirdos so much so that they have their own conventions.

Brony, Furries and Cosplay . . . way TMI . . . not that there's anything wrong with that TheDon . . . ;)

elchivito 01-08-2014 05:38 PM

I guess it's sorta like the old Playboy Bunny costumes, only creepier.

Doesn't VStech live in NC? He might know the guy

ramonajim 01-08-2014 06:10 PM

Close friends with a guy who has a fully defined fox type furry character. Up to and including field trips in costume.

What questions do all y'all simpletons have?

I went to Star Wars celebration here in FL and looked at making storm trooper armor but haven't gotten around to it.
