"I'll throw you off this balcony"
N.Y. congressman apologizes after threatening to throw reporter off balcony – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs
Reporter asks Rep. Michael Grimm an uncomfortable question, elicits a rather harsh response. Honestly, him being from Staten Island and all, I'm surprised it wasn't "I'll break your kneecaps, then bury you in the landfill." Talk about being a walking, talking cliche. |

What the congressman do? File a suit against the threatening party, along with a restraining order.

Here's a little food for thought. Psychologist have long said if someone threatens your person, ALWAYS ALWAYS take the threat seriously. There have been many cases involving people who were physically threatened and did not take the threat seriously to their own detriment. This reporter needs body guard(s) to follow him around and provide 24/7 protection.
Might not hurt to lock his doors at night. |

When I saw the link in the OP's post, I surmised that he was a member of the Republican Party...

Creepy thing was that the guy didn't seem angry, not shouting, as much as cold and controlled. Psychopath? |

Quote:
A psychopath, by definition, is someone who can kill another with absolutely no sense of guilt or remorse. Check out the movie, "No Country for Old Men" for an example of how a psychopathic killer operates. Cold, calculating, totally void of empathy for his victims. According to FBI statistics, one in one hundred people is a certified psychopath. Think about it, if you live in a city of one million people, you walk amongst ten thousand (10,000) living, breathing psychopaths. Look at the way people drive.....they are stark raving C-R-A-Z-Y. The problem is most people tend to minimize a threat when it comes. This is why they get into trouble by not taking the threats seriously. They tend to "play it down" when they should "play it up" and do what is necessary to protect themselves and their families. Otherwise, they end up on television shows like "ID". It was sorta funny...., in a sick way. How many people have ever wanted to say that to a member of the often annoying media..?
