New York State legal AR-15...

No less deadly than the original, just ugly as sin...

Manufacturers Change Look of AR-15; Rifle Is Now Legal in New York State | National Review Online

Even the CA legal AR is horrible. I toyed about the idea of buying one some years back, but I just couldn't get past how pathetic it looks.

I'm not a fan of the AR platform, mainly because everybody has one. However, my step-son, who lives in CA, just picked up a nice looking Colt M4. It would never pass NY's list of banned parts...and that is in stock form.

Oh that's sad. Now only the wealthy and well connected elite can own them, or more precisely their body guards and police units.

Laws don't apply equally to all.

Question is: do you support any reasonable weapons restrictions on the public? Should anyone be allowed to own a 100 mm howitzer? How about a hydrogen bomb?

You are aware that gun control laws are meant to keep certain firearms from blacks and poor people, right??

Only trained schmucks should have H-bombs.

Not true. A majority of Americans have no guns at all. A minority of Americans own guns, but just how many is unclear | Pew Research Center

Can you offer a link to substantiate that?

I want a hunting rifle to shoot .223/5.56 ammo. Does anyone sell a parts kit to build a hunting rifle from AR parts so that it doesn't look like an assault rifle? I want something that won't alarm my neighbors when I am doing predator control. I don't want to offend their visual sensitivities. Wood furniture, you know, hunting rifle look.

I can't buy 22 WMR anymore and I'm almost out. Got plenty 5.56 might as well use it.

Walmart sells a Savage Axis but I read that the trigger sucks. Might go with a Ruger Mini but something about it just doesn't really appeal to me.

100mm howitzer? yes no paperwork.

Just have permits & documentation for explosive rounds. You can't buy dynamite without paperwork.

I get what you're saying, but anyone who can afford hydrogen isn't going to want to buy it
