Million dollars.

One of our aquaintences won a million in a lotto last week. Been quite a long time since I personally knew anyone that did win a signifigant amount. Of course a million is not what it once was but still cannot hurt. One nice thing up here in Canada is any winnings are not taxable. You actually get all you win.

I always felt they beat horrific odds when they do.

I won cash only once that I can think of. My mother in law wanted me to take her to a bingo game quite far away.

So when we got there I thought I would kill the waiting time by playing as well. Staying on the better side of the mother in law was a good incentive as well. She actually liked me.

Never have played bingo before or since. Won three hundred that was split four ways. This was so long ago you couild actually get some value out of seventy five dollars. My only other signifigant gamble was for love those many years ago. I am still paying for that one. Even though I won?

The one time I bought a ticket, I won.

Ticket cost: $1.
Winnings: $2.

Then I lost the ticket before I had a chance to redeem it. Never again.

That's great! A guy I work(ed) with won the "$200,000 a year for life" scratch off. He didn't last long at the office before taking early retirement!

Almost as big as Food Stamps

BBC News - Bill Gates regains top spot as world's richest person "Mr Gates' total net worth was estimated at $76bn (£45.5bn) this year, up from $67bn in 2013. His rise in wealth knocked Mexican telecoms tycoon Carlos Slim off the top spot into second place." Probably by giving them windows servers

Well, now he won't have to eat Kraft Dinner . . . But we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would, we'd just eat more. And buy really expensive ketchup with it. That's right, all the fanciest dijon ketchup.

I actually haven't cut myself while working on the car for the last two times. Makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong...

I. Have. A. Skin. Condition.

Why must I continue to be mocked for this?
