Just finished a cylinder head job on a double VANOS BMW X5. Pretty straight forward job that is made easy with the Bentley manual. Man, I wish they had those for the MB line of cars.

I had to purchase some tools to pin the crank and hold the cams in place and ended up purchasing a Smoke Pro machine to use for checking for vacuum leaks. It can also be used to smoke a/c systems.

The original issue with the car was that it had a broken valve spring and leaking valves on three cylinders.
