I have been contemplating a BMW 320ix and the dealer made me an offer could not refuse, soooooo the story goes. I now am the proud owner of a loaded 320ix. Pix will follow. It's something blue with tan interior. I drove it today in the snow and it commands the fing s,,,, out of the white stuff. Maybe better than the Subaru.

How is the 4 cylinder?

I test drove the 528XI and it felt kind of slow, but in a lighter car it would probably go pretty good.

My buddy has a 135I with a Dinan tune and holly crap I love that car, 400hp+, 6spd manual, convertible.

My friend has three kids, his 4 year old fits prefect in the back seat! But when he grows a bit...also his 16 year old wants the car which is a bad idea.

We got my grandson (after he totaled his running truck) a 1960's F-100 that runs (!!). Well, the engine runs. 6 cyl & 3 on the tree. Found in my wife's deceased grandfather's barn. Complete with packrat nest in engine compartment.

He's learning how to be a mechanic, electrician and paint&body man if he wants to drive. Lucky for him his father and other grandfather are really good mechanics. My role is I got him a gift certificate to Harbor Freight.

The power is decent but it's hard to tell because our road's have been covered with snow and ice and from the looks of things they will be that way for the next couple weeks. I am most impressed with the ride and the functionality of the nav and media system. The rear seat room is good the kids didn't complain so that's a plus.

And bot is correct cars will be driving themselves by the time I will be able to have a fast car again.

I will take some tomorrow it's too damn cold to go out right now, with that said my wife ran a 5k this morning she's making me look like a sissy.

Absolutely perfect. Every male and some females in our great nation should be required (by their parents) to go through a sweat equity arrangement of this sort before being allowed to drive. ESPECIALLY after totaling a vehicle. After you've busted your knuckles bringing some rig back from the brink, you're going to drive more carefully. You don't want to have to fix it again for no good reason.
