I personally don't mind it (recession is just an opportunity by another name), but GDP in the US only rose 0.1% last quarter. Spending went up, but only on fuel (due to winter weather) and health care (due to ACA).

As far as the ACA, we'll see real numbers in a month or so after data on premium payments are in.
