Why?

Why did Hillary refuse requests to put Boko Haram on the terrorists list?

As would be expected from a politician, NOW she's squealing like a pig under a gate about how bad they are, as if she had always been against them.

Typical politician, she didn't want to PO ANY potential campaign contributors.

To Larry....I don't know.

Exactly right! Politicians ONLY reason for doing or saying anything is how it will help them in the next election. How it effects innocent people means NOTHING to them. Hillary is the epitome of this MO. ZERO regard for anyone besides herself.

Kind of scary thinking about what she is going to be like as president. Her personality emboldened is beyond what I am capable of envisioning. What will it be like to watch the president ranting with the vitriol she showed in her "what difference does it make?" Tantrum? At least BO with all his faults is capable of holding his tongue when in a tense situation.

Probably at the time because they were not considered a threat to the USA or any of our closest allies or alliances.

I think that's still the case (not a threat to us or allies), but I could be wrong.

What would you suggest the criteria for official sanctions be?

Try to think about it without personalizing it to a politician.

The USA has limited resources and the citizens have a limited ability to keep focused on any given problem.

What business is it of ours that some local insurgency in a basket-case corrupt country has done something evil?

The pols seem to be more worried about those girls than they are about middle class America.

Good point. Many of us overlook the obvious, but you make a great point.

elchivito 05-08-2014 09:54 AM

The Republican pols are certainly more worried about Hillary than they are about the middle class.;)

Right. Nigerian AQ wannabes are potential campaign contributors. Uh-huh.

Perhaps she'll address this point. All I can figure is that they may have seemed small and inconsequential. Word I've read is it didn't really change our dealings regarding them.

going to be like as president.

Pray is doesn't happen. The country's on its last leg now.

You're half right. NONE of the politicians in ANY party are worried about ANYTHING besides doing or saying whatever they have to, in orders to get enough votes. If anyone thinks it's only one party then they are drinking their pastries Kool aid.

I completely agree, but face reality and brace for it. It is imminent. With the corrupt and biased media covering for her, she's a shoe in. I won a bet with Brian Carlton at the last presidential election with my prediction about the media doing the same for BO that they are doing for Thunder Thighs. Bet the farm on it. She's as good as sworn in.

DON'T question what Lady Clinton has to say: why, don't you know, she is by far the brightest woman in the world and completely ready to ascend to the throne when the Beloved Leader graciously steps down?

Air&Road 05-08-2014 11:26 AM

You're right Tex. I've never wanted to be wrong more than I want to be wrong with my above prediction, but unfortunately for America and even for the world, my prediction will for sure come true.

It will be interesting or maybe even scary the first time she has a bad day and loses her cool like she did in the "what difference does it make" tantrum. Hope she doesn't push the button that day. Most of us hAve seen what PMS can do, even in normal woman. No telling what could be the result with a nut case like her.

tbomachines 05-08-2014 11:41 AM

I don't think I've seen so much outright pessimism in one thread before
