Legal Pot in the US Is Crippling Mexican Cartels

From the article: "Given the DEA’s relationship with Sinaloa, and the agency’s fury over legalized marijuana, it almost seems like the DEA wants to crush the legal weed market in order to protect the interests of their cartel friends. Almost."

Just like alcohol, there's more than a generation of those that consume cannabis and are otherwise law abiding citizens.

Since we are losing the war on drugs, let's try legalizing it. It looks like that will in the end, win the war on drugs for us.

I've been saying that for years. And let's not forget that it's the War on Some Drugs. Big Pharma has been allowed to run amok at the same time the wacky weed has been demonized.

It's been speculated more than once that the DEA was originally formed to provide new work for agents who were idled from the end of prohibition. MJ remaining illegal is job security.

Big Pharma is responsible for 50% of addicts in America and are solely responsible for the massive heroin epidemic that plagues the US at the moment.

Weed is completely harmless if you look at what they make available. Back in the days I would hangout with a couple of girls who were all very successful sales people for big pharmaceutic companies, never met a group that popped more pills and snored more cocaine then them. Sorry not true, the rich kids in LaJolla were even worse.

I smoke weed now and then but less and less all the time. It's not as harmful as pills or heroin but it has its problems. Years ago I vegged out more than once on weed. One of my clients has an unemployed 20 year old son who does the herb with his buddies all the time. And not much else. Of course my friend/client is partly at fault as he's been giving him a large allowance for a couple of years at least.
