Summer time just means working in heat stress. I will enjoy a few days off over the 4th of July, camping with some IDI diesel friends at Cape May, NJ.

Kickced it off with some friends by doing a NYC pub crawl. Started out on the lower east side and ended up at the 79th St. boat basin. I felt like a human ATM spitting out $20's one after the other. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Found a great rooftop bar on W45th called the Perfect Pint. Gonna be doing more of that for sure!

Unfortunately much of it will be spent fighting with the insurance company and the contractor handing our house fire repair. Just going over the personal effects lowball offer now and reconciling that. Still waiting on the structural lowball number from them.

Will spend as much time as possible at our Maine cabin. Probably a week in August and a few 4 days weekends leading up to it.

Sadly my SeaRay won't make it off the trailer for yet another summer, but I am going to get my new-to-me little tin can in the water to play around in!

Staying inside with the windows closed and the shades drawn. The only time I go out in the summer is to crawl through a wrecking yard now and then if there is a sighting of an older Mercedes.
