How can you Texans stand it? No predictablitity when it comes, horrible drivers, poor construction planning. The place I travel most has been a nightmare to navigate and is getting worse. I spent 3 hours parked on 35 two weeks ago in Dallas because they shut down all lanes to hang signs. No alternative route, just shut down and wait.

Same thing today on 290 heading into Houston. Nearly missed my flight and would have if I didn't be an a-hole by driving on a shoulder and taking a ditch to exit.

Never have I been anywhere where the shut down highways with no warning and expect you to wait.

Did a 1000 trip around Texas this week and spent at least 6 hours in gridlock. Would have been much worse if I didn't have traffic reports and a gps.
