Spoof site. Wonder how many people ran out and upped their hoard of powdered milk?

Personally as a Canadian I like that projected snowfall map. All snowfall seems to end at the southern side of the Canadian border. No snow here this winter would not hurt us at all.

Perhaps I can raffle off our snow clearing items.

Snow is what keeps our parts of the world not looking like Florida.

Personally, I'm hoping it IS true. NJ is full of cheap distressed property right now and soccer mommies and their sperm donors staying in their heated houses rather than looking for places to move to makes my task of picking up another rental or two that much easier.

It's what people who live in places with real men's weather enjoy

Winter is what we have so it doesn't become like California.
Warm climates with no winter produce fuked up societies awash with homeless and freeloaders.

The geography of child poverty shows it well

I already stocked up on powdered milk and canned bread after the Farmer's Almanac forecast!

I've always wondered about canned bread. Who intentionally eats that stuff?

While not an aficionado, it's not that bad. I don't know if it's common in other parts of the country, but it's definitely a New England thing. Especially among older, northern yankees.

I grew up eating it while on camping trips with my grandfather. Obviously it's not affected by packing and rough travel. Fried up in a cast iron skillet over a wood fire with a pat of butter and it's not too shabby. Very molasses-y.

About once a year I buy a can and it just brings back those memories. And it's goof to the kids. Not unlike Moxie.
