Smile Benz in the driveway

My Dad is making me write this about the events that unfolded last Thursday, he is known as RAZORMAN here on the Discussion board.

I found out that my mom was going to FL and that my dad was going to work from 6 at night to 6 in the morning. They highly stressed NO KIDS OVER THE HOUSE! But being the teenager that i am of course didn't not head the warning. Inviting several of my closest buddies over to hang out over here.

Guess what??? Dad gets sick at 9 30PM and comes home... He calls from his cell phone stating that he will be home in a few mins but in reality sitting out in the driveway asking if things are ok at the house...

After he discovers that our driveway looks like a used car parking lot he enters the house seeing myself and all my friends in the kitchen having a good time. I am the first one to notice that he enters and the look on my face was said to be undescribable. He then nonchalantly walks over to my friends who all have there backs to him trying to get some food out of the oven and wispers LEAVE...

No one knew still that he was present in the house, then he lets out a shout LEAVE! sending my friends in a military like fasion out the door one by one.

Thank god no illegal activities were going on or everyone in the house would probably been crucified. I will never forget the look on his face when he walked in the house and you could see the fury just comming off of him. (Even though he still loves me)

Taking my car away but then realizing how much slack i would take from my friends the next day was punishment enough. Started to laugh to himself as i walked upstairs to my room.

WELL hope you all get a good laugh at this... Razorman AND son1

Smile bummer dude

Next time, post a lookout or wait until they're gone for a weekend.

Personally, I would have taken away your cell phone AND car for a week, but then I'm mean.

Consider yourself lucky

I'd say you got off very lightly. You may not realize it but I'd bet you Dad is much more hurt and disapointed than angry. He trusted you and you didn't hold up on your end. If he can't trust you with this situation, how can he trust you in more important ones? It may take a while for you to earn his trust back.

The most important thing is that you realized that he loves you. Everything else is secondary.

My son did that, and some minor damage was done, but mostly to our trust, which suffered extensive damage.

My parents have 4 boys, my twin and I are the youngest (20 next month), with a 22 and 25 year old brothers.
When we were all younger (still today, somewhat ), when they were out of town, our house was a MOB of kids all day and all night until my parents got back. Since we had an older brother, my parents rarely had someone else watch us. But my oldest brother was always the one to instigate the party, spurring my other brothers and myself to invite everyone over. There were so many OUT OF CONTROL partys at "THE FRAC HOUSE" you wouldn't even believe. I remember one time hearing RUN RUN and a few people and I ran and hid in my closet as police men ran throughout the house!
Surprisingly, my parent's didn't find out most of the time, or didn't mind most of the time. As we got older (well somewhat), the parties died down, parent's don't mind at all, and things are pretty good.

My brothers and I are all EXTREMELY clean and organized people... IN the last few years, they know we wouldn't do anything too out of control () and trust us to ensure the house is in good condition for the housekeepers!

I am lucky to have good parents... I had my fair share AND THEN SOME of trouble in the past, in addition to 3 other brothers!

Razorman, I know that look, I know I've had it NUMEROUS times in my life!!! It's an OH HOLY **** look!

VERY lucky

You are VERY lucky indeed!! Your saving grace was quite likely the fact that you weren't doing any illegal activities or, from what you describe, trashing the place.

I never pulled a stunt like this, nobody dared to invoke my fathers fury.
