Windows 6 vs Jelly Bean for in car Nav.

Bought a 2014 Hundai Santa Fa for my wife but did not get the Tech option.Been looking to replace OEM radio with an after market Nav. I have decided on an Android system but some have win6 and others have jelly bean.Which is the better OS?

Neither. A piece of Velcro and a phone are cheap. Dashboard NAV is so 2004-passe.

So is Win6, that's a dinosaur of a mobile platform that predates Jelly Bean.

Comparatively speaking, JB isn't that old; heck, some android phones being sold today still use Froyo or Gingerbread.

Win6 was the OS for the original Samsung "Jack", which later became the blackjack (6.5) and BJ2 (also 6.5). That's truly ancient in terms of mobile platforms.

OP, I tend to side with Speedy, get a stick-on windshield mount (about $15 or so, check amazon) and clamp your phone in it.

But if you want "in dash" nav and your decision is really JB or WinM6, I'd go with JB.

Good luck.

One of the reasons is the backup camera. 3"screen to an 8" screen is quite a difference.
